“SWIG EQUITIES TO SUPPORT THE 22ND ANNUAL NEW YORK CARES COAT DRIVE TO BENEFIT NEW YORKERS IN NEED
NEW YORK – November 29, 2010 – Kent M. Swig, President of Swig Equities, LLC, today announced the firm’s continued participation in the 22nd Annual New York Cares Coat Drive. Beginning December 1, 2010, Swig Equities will collect gently used coats in the lobbies of five of its buildings, including 48 Wall Street, 80 Broad Street, 90 Broad Street, 5 Hanover Square and 110 William Street.
Each December, New York Cares collects nearly 70,000 coats and distributes them to thousands of men, women and children who would otherwise be cold. Swig Equities will help contribute to the cause by maintaining clearly marked donation receptacles in its building lobbies throughout the holiday season.
“This is the fifth year that we have participated in the New York Cares Coat Drive, and we are so pleased to help bring warmth and comfort to the individuals and families who need it most,†said Kent M. Swig. “We urge our tenants to get involved and donate their gently used coats for this worthy cause, and thank Norman Zeller and our entire property management staff for their efforts to make this happen.â€
